Therapist takes notes while counseling a client in a bright room.
Agave Plant Close-Up

You learned to make yourself small. You can unlearn it.

Somewhere along the way you started checking yourself before you spoke. Wondering if you were overreacting. Bracing for the next thing. Counselling can help you stop bracing and start trusting what you feel. Online, at your own pace.

Hi, I'm Kellie

Maybe you read texts five times before you send them. Maybe you say sorry when someone else stands too close. Maybe the anxiety just won't quieten down and you can't say why.

You don't need to explain it well to start.

I offer a space where you set the pace. No pressure to have it all worked out. No therapy jargon. No expectation that you turn up with the answers. We start where you are.

WHO I WORK WITH

You don’t need to be “less anxious” to start therapy

You might be here because the anxiety doesn't switch off, even on the good days. Or because something you lived through taught your body to stay ready for the next thing.

I work with women who are:

  • Anxious most days, even when nothing's obviously wrong

  • Living with, or finding their way out of, a relationship that leaves them doubting themselves

  • Carrying things their body hasn't let go of yet

  • Tired of apologising for taking up space

  • Learning, maybe for the first time, what safe is meant to feel like

Some people I work with know exactly where their anxiety comes from.

Others don’t and that’s okay too.

You don’t need a clear story, the right words, or a diagnosis to begin.

My Approach

HOW I WORK

I work in a person-centred and psychodynamic way. In plain terms, I follow your lead, and together we look at the patterns underneath. Where they started. Why they still pull at you now.

Sessions aren't about me handing you techniques or telling you what to think. They're about building a space where you feel heard, maybe for the first time in a while, and where we can start to untangle what's been going on.

No rush. No agenda. Just two people talking, one of whom happens to have some training that might help.
